Hockey New Brunswick / Para Sport NB (Para Hockey)
Fredericton, NB
Fall,
PARA HOCKEY (Coed, Ages 6-16)
Welcome Event:
October 16th 2022
Additional information
Para Hockey (also known as sledge hockey) is an innovative team sport that incorporates the same rules and strategies as 'stand-up' ice hockey. It is intended for participants with a physical handicap but is open to the able-bodied as well. Players sit on specially designed sleds with skate blades under the seat and use two sticks to pass, stick handle, shoot, propel and maneuver their sleds. For this program, sleds will be lent to participants for the 6 on-ice sessions.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
